A few things you should know about SDSU

SDSU offers more academic options than any other university in the state – more than 200 majors, minors, and programs for undergraduates, as well as a full complement of graduate programs. Rest assured that your son or daughter can pursue his or her interests here, no matter what they are (or might turn out to be).

We work to keep our classes small—averaging just 35 students each—and we’re committed to offering classes that students need in order to graduate on time.  Plus, we hire professors who are as interested in teaching as in conducting cutting-edge research. We combine this vibrant academic environment with a safe, friendly campus filled with cultural, athletic, and other co-curricular activities, so students learn as much outside the classroom as in it.

Finally, SDSU represents a tremendous value. We realize that college is a huge investment for families, and we do everything possible to make it an attainable goal. We start with competitive tuition and fees, then award financial aid to about 87 percent of our students (average package = more than $8,000).
