Located just north of the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex, the Jackrabbits played their first game at Jackrabbits Softball Field April 20, 2007.
Building Description
Permanent dugouts were added to the stadium in 2008, and the stadium has seen numerous enhancements since, including wind screens and updated SDSU branding along with improvements to the playing surface.
In fall 2016, the Jackrabbits softball team installed a net backstop, replacing the original chain-link backstop to provide better sight lines for fans and a cleaner look. That netting received a further upgrade in 2020 and a new scoreboard and updated padding to the outfield wall were installed in 2021.
Future additions, including permanent seating, field turf and a press box, are planned.
