Butzin earns NSF CAREER award
Nicholas Butzin, assistant professor in South Dakota State University's Department of Biology and Microbiology, has been awarded a five-year, $1.3 million grant through the National Science Foundation's Faculty Early Career Development Program.
Undergraduate fellowship leads Nelson to doctoral work at SDSU
This spring, Pine Ridge native Dillon Nelson began doctoral work at SDSU after completing his bachelor's degree at Oglala Lakota College. His experience with a USDA-funded fellowship program fueled his interest in research.
