Reynolds, friends to present chamber music faculty recital

The South Dakota State University School of Performing Arts presents David Reynolds and Friends in a chamber music faculty recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall.

DeGraff to present faculty recital

Anna DeGraff, an instructor of applied voice and music appreciation at South Dakota State University, will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

Vincent receives Carol Hepper Foundation Award

South Dakota State University junior Savanna Vincent has received the 2023 Carol Hepper Award in studio art. Vincent is a studio art major specializing in printmaking and ceramics with a certificate in art history. Hepper was a 1975 SDSU graduate born in McLaughlin.

Bill and Carolyn Hinks named 2023 Philanthropic Family of the Year

Bill and Carolyn Hinks of Sioux Falls were named the South Dakota State University Foundation’s 2023 Philanthropic Family of the Year.

Trumpeters to present junior recital

South Dakota State University’s School of Performing Arts invites the community to a recital featuring juniors Caroline Reyner and Ally Ercink performing a trumpet repertoire. The junior recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center and features both classics as well as newer works.

Robinson presents debut album, ‘Aviary’

Elizabeth Robinson, assistant professor of music in the South Dakota State University School of Performing Arts, has released her debut album. “Aviary” was released by Aerocade Music in late March 2023.
