Emergency Management Team

The Emergency Management Team (EMT) is responsible for overall coordination of the University’s emergency preparedness efforts. The members of the team are:

  • Dennis Hedge, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
  • Michaela Willis, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
  • Michael Holbeck, Vice President for Finance and Budget
  • Daniel Scholl, Vice President for Research and Economic Development
  • David Overby, Vice President for Technology and Security
  • Karyn Weber, Chief of Staff
  • Tim Heaton, Chief of University Police
  • Rebecca Peterson, Director of Housing & Residential Life
  • Mike Lockrem, Director of University Marketing and Communications
  • Barry Mielke, Associate Vice President for Facilities and Services
  • Jayme Trygstad, Emergency Management Specialist
