Site:  Aberdeen B.S.N Program

Program: Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Accelerated option

Semester in the nursing major: Four

Previous degree/institution: I majored in biology and minored in chemistry at Northern State University. I graduated in May 2018.

Organizations that you are involved in: I am involved with the Northern State University International Student Programs, campus volunteering and other campus activity clubs and organizations.

Advice for fellow students: Nursing is challenging but if you really put in the effort and it is your passion, you will succeed and get what you want in life. Your classmates will become your family, you will need each other to make it through the journey.

Future Goals: I want to further my nursing education and become a nurse practitioner in the future.

Why do you want to be a nurse: Nursing is the most rewarding and trusted profession, I wanted to purse nursing as a career half way through my undergrad education. The emotional satisfaction that you get from caring for someone is irreplaceable.
