This page includes assessment plans that guide the academic planning and evaluation of each of the School of Communication and Journalism's major degree programs. On-going assessment is significant for program improvement and is required for accreditation through the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). ACEJMC has accredited Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, and the Master of Mass Communication programs at SDSU. The National Communication Association (NCA) provides best practices for assessment for Communication Studies and the Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies.
