Perinatal Health Resources

BIRTH-SD logo

The BIRTH-SD team is working hard to increase availability of and access to resources for new and expecting parents in South Dakota. Many resources for parents already exist.

Resources for Housing, Food and Other Assistance

These locations provide family planning services such as pregnancy testing, counseling and referrals in addition to birth control, annual reproductive health exams, and STI screenings. All locations offer services based on a sliding fee scale so no one is denied services if they cannot afford them.

Public Health Alliance Sites

Community health clinics in South Dakota provide a variety of services including reduced priced childhood immunizations, general prenatal and postpartum support, childhood developmental screenings, education about resources such as WIC, and oral fluoride treatment applications. All locations have additional assistance for services so no one is denied services if they cannot afford them.
